Terms of Service.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and YBI LLC, a Texas company (“YBI,” “we,” “us”). They cover the ybi app for iPhone and the website ybiworks.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

Client work for businesses is covered by its own written agreement, which governs if it conflicts with these terms.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account secure; activity under your account is yours.
• You must be at least 13 to use ybi, and old enough where you live to agree to these terms.
• Give accurate information, and tell us at rj@ybiworks.com if you think someone else is using your account.

3. Your data stays yours

You own what you connect and create in ybi. You give us permission to process it only to run the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a source or delete your account at any time.

4. Health information is not medical advice

ybi shows your own health data back to you. It is for information only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Talk to a qualified health professional before changing your exercise, sleep, or diet, and never ignore medical advice because of something you saw in ybi.

5. Financial information is not financial advice

If you connect a bank through Plaid, ybi shows your accounts and transactions back to you. That is for information only and is not financial, tax, or investment advice. Bank data can be delayed or incomplete, so check with your bank before acting on it. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid's own terms and privacy policy.

6. AI features

Some features use AI to answer questions about your data. AI answers can be wrong. Treat them as a starting point, not a fact, and check anything important.

7. Paid features

If ybi offers paid features, they are sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, renewal, and cancellation, and Apple's terms apply to those purchases. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

8. Fair use

Please don't:

• Break the law, or use ybi to harm someone.
• Try to get into systems or data that aren't yours, or interfere with how ybi runs.
• Copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

9. What we own

The ybi app, this website, and their design, words, and code belong to YBI LLC. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them, nothing more.

10. Testing, changes, and ending things

ybi is in testing. Features may change, break, or go away. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. You can stop using ybi and delete your account at any time.

11. No warranties, limited liability

ybi and this website are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, YBI LLC makes no warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from your use of ybi or this website. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

12. Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use ybi after that means you accept the new terms.
